Today, we will be interviewing Danny DePina ‘21, a four year senior here at The Winchendon School! We talk about questions regarding his best times here to what to do in fun scenarios.

LD: What has been/is one of your favorite classes at The Winchendon School, and why?

DD: Global Dynamics has been one of my favorite classes at Winch. It is a unique way to contribute both English and writing classes together.

LD: After four long years, how does it feel to be a senior?

DD: It feels great to be a senior! I am prepared for college and looking forward to the future.

LD: If you could give your freshman self a piece of advice now that you're a senior about to graduate, what would that advice be?

DD: I would tell myself to get more involved with the school. I wish I had invested more time into participating in school activities.

LD: What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishment here at The Winchendon School?

DD: My greatest accomplishment here is I have been both a Service Learning leader and Dorm Proctor for two years.

LD: If you were trapped on an island, what would you bring and why?

DD: If I was trapped on an island I would bring a radio to listen to music.

LD: What has been your best extracurricular experience?

DD: My best extracurricular experience was playing lacrosse my freshman and sophomore years. I made a lot of new friendships with the players and found a connection with the coach.

LD: What has been your best high school memory?

DD: My best high school memory was going to prom my freshman year. Unfortunately, it was the only one I went to, but it was so much fun and a day to remember!

LD: If you would travel to anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?

DD: If I could travel anywhere in the world right now, it would be Cape Verde. I was born there but moved to the US when I was only 5. I have never been back and I would like to visit my family.

LD: Would you rather be the smartest person in the world or the strongest person in the world?

DD: I would rather become the smartest person in the world. I would rather be the smartest person because I would never be wrong if I knew everything.

LD: Would you rather go deep sea diving or skydiving?

DD: I would rather go skydiving than deep-sea diving because I don't know how to swim, so I would be less scared to go skydiving than to deep-sea diving.

LD: What was your funniest moment in high school?

DD:.My funniest moment in high school was my freshman year when I locked myself out of my room three times in the same day.

LD: What is your dream career?

DD: My dream career would be to be a CIA special agent for the USA.
